Our Inception

The Helvetica Group founded by Mr. Ashok Doshi, is ingrained in and draws from the rich experience of being in the Horology trade for the past 5 decades. The group has contributed greatly to the Horology Trade in India; Luxury in particular by associating successfully with the World’s most prestigious Brands and introducing them to India.

Evolution of Luxury Retail Business

In the year 2000 the Helvetica Group forayed into Luxury retailing when the Government of India liberalized foreign trade, and was among the firsts to establish associations with Luxury Brands and introduce them to India and to step into the Luxury sphere of the Indian Horology & Accessories Trade.

Today, The Helvetica Group is a chain of premium multi-brand boutiques and flagship stores in the metros of Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad, retailing from more than 15 boutiques, that are placed on premium properties such as luxury malls, five-star hotels and airports.

Our Founder - Mr. Ashok Doshi

Mr. Ashok Doshi developed a deep passion for trade and horology at a young age and brings over 55 years of experience in the industry. In 1998, he led a 49%–51% joint venture with Citizen Watches Japan, forming Citizen Watches India Private Limited, where he served as Whole Time Director. Guided by his vision, values, and dedication, he founded and continues to grow the Helvetica Group.

Managing Director - Mr. Teerath Doshi

Teerath Doshi, a third-generation watch retailer, possesses deep insight into the horology industry. Building on the foundation laid by earlier generations, he has significantly expanded the group’s retail footprint. With his broad expertise and forward-looking approach, he continues to evolve the Helvetica Group while firmly upholding its core values.
