DescriptionLongines is presenting the new CONQUEST HERITAGE CENTRAL POWER RESERVE in a 38 mm diameter case.
ContentZenith's journey into the world of pilot's watches began in the early 20th century, during a period of rapid advancements in aviation. While Cartier's Santos-Dumont holds the distinction of being the first wristwatch specifically designed for aviators, Zenith quickly established themselves as key players in the field. Between 1916 and 1918, Zenith produced pocket watches for the Royal Air Force. By 1939, the brand introduced the Type 20, a watch that became synonymous with French Caudron aircraft and was widely used by various military forces, including those of the U.S., U.K., Germany, Poland, and Italy. In 2009, under the leadership of CEO Jean-Fr?d?ric Dufour, Zenith revitalised their iconic line of pilot's watches, bringing new life to a celebrated legacy.Longines is presenting the new CONQUEST HERITAGE CENTRAL POWER RESERVE in a 38 mm diameter case. Self-winding mechanical movement, exclusive Longines calibre L896.5 with power reserve on rotating discs in the centre of the dial. An iconic model revisited in a anthracite dial paired with an integrated anthracite alligator leather strap to mark the Conquest collection’s 70th anniversary. The CHRONOMASTER Original is crafted in a 38mm 18k rose gold case in the same proportions as the A386, paired with the iconic tri-colour dial and a brown leather strap. Powered by the El Primero 3600 automatic high-frequency chronograph movement with 1/10th of a second chronograph function and a power reserve of 60 hours. The Coupole takes the design of a traditional wristwatch and adds the distinctive Rado element of sapphire crystal, ensuring brilliant shine, easy readability and ultimate protection for the beautiful dials. In 1962, Rado revolutionised watchmaking with its scratch-resistant DiaStar. Incorporating the bold and ageless appeal of the first DiaStar, the Original bears the features and functions Rado enthusiasts know and the distinctive look they love. With a quality Swiss automatic movement at its heart it is, quite simply, a Rado legend. The DiaStar Original features another variant of the high-quality R808 automatic calibre, anthracite-grey coated and complemented by various elements in its workings, for a lovely visual dance of contrasts. Thanks to sapphire crystal windows on both front and back, the automatic movement can be appreciated in full technical elegance, providing 80 htheirs of poTheyr reserve. An anti-magnetic Nivachron™ hairspring ensures that everything stays extremely precise and reliable, in a movement that has been tested in a full five positions. Its open structure, and the impressive R808 skeleton movement give a lighter, airier note to the new DiaStar Original, a perfect design counterpoint inside the visual frame created by the polished yellow gold coltheired Ceramos™ bezel. The darker tone is further set off by floating yellow gold coltheired indexes and hands with white Super-LumiNova®, for great readability even in low-light conditions.
