Description
ContentPerformance and style for all your water-based pursuits. In the 1960s, the new sport of scuba diving was all the rage. For divers, timing was everything, and Breitling set out to give them the most clear-cut dive watch possible by eliminating any feature that didn’t support their lifesaving needs underwater. This pared-down watch was named the Slow Motion. What remained were clean lines, chunky luminescent indexes, squared-off hands and a high-contrast dial ring, all aimed at maximum legibility. Practical, yes. But what people really fell in love with was the look. The new Superocean retraces the Slow Motion's celebrated design codes, while adding modern features, like a ceramic-inlayed bezel and brightly colored dials. Broad hands and indexes in luminescent Super-LumiNova® allow for easy readability underwater. The watch is water resistant to 300 m (1000 ft), as well as being shock-, sand- and saltwater-resistant. The bronze version uses a special alloy that has excellent resistance to corrosion, yet will still develop a subtle patina over time that makes the watch even more unique. The two strap options (rubber and metal bracelet) have a folding clasp that allows for micro-adjustments of up to 15 mm for easy wear over rashies and wetsuits. Its scratch-proof ceramic inlayed bezel will never wear or fade. For safety, the bezel is uni-directional on most sizes and bi-directional with a patented lock on the 46 mm. Best of all, this is no longer strictly a dive watch—surf with it, swim with it, hit the beach bar with it, then wear it out to dinner. The Superocean perfectly balances the nostalgia of its heritage with a fresh new look.On trend, yet timeless, the petite Chronomat 28 is the versatile sports chic watch for any occasion. These showstoppers have so much more to offer than just their trim new sizes. Mother-of-pearl in various shades and traceable lab-grown diamonds combine with subtle refinements to give the timepieces a jewelry-like appeal. Choose your case and Rouleaux bracelet style: from straight-up stainless steel to mixed-metal duotone—all with a comfortable butterfly folding clasp. The Chronomat 28 is powered by the Breitling Caliber 72, a COSC-certified SuperQuartz™ chronometer.Breitling’s most versatile Navitimer—for the journey. The Navitimer is one of the most recognizable watches ever made. It’s on collectors’ lists of the greatest watches of all time. What began in 1952 as a tool for pilots has gone on to mean something profound to every single person who has had this timepiece along on their personal journey. The Navitimer Automatic and Automatic GMT 41 distill the iconic look, omitting the chronograph yet preserving a balanced dial composition. The central placement of the 24-hour scale on the GMT and the Automatic’s clean face, ensure the intricate slide rule stands out while streamlining the overall aesthetics. Further refining the collection, the notched bezel was incorporated for a contemporary touch, and alternating polished and brushed finishes add a dynamic play of light. Straps in alligator leather and bracelets with a seamless butterfly clasp offer comfort and convenience. The palette includes colorful dials, encased in a choice of stainless steel or 18 k red gold. This reinvention of the Navitimer, marrying the classic with the contemporary, is tailored for enthusiasts and the style-conscious alike, promising Breitling’s commitment to heritage and innovation in each timepiece.Debuted in 1964, the Breitling Top Time watch was initially designed as a chronograph that would appeal to young, energetic individuals. Previously, chronographs were only used as professional instruments, but Breitling recognised their potential as elegant accessories. Top Time quickly became popular among automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts in the 1960s. The watch remained in production until the late 1970s, surviving a tough era when quartz watches gained popularity. After many years, Top Time was revived in 2020 under the direction of new CEO Georges Kern, aiming to restore its original charm and historical significance. The Chronomat Automatic GMT 40 is Breitling’s tribute to travel, not only for its dual time zone display, but also because of its easygoing aesthetics. Subtle dial colors, combined with an all-steel case and bracelet, work with any wardrobe. Meanwhile, the tone-on-tone 24-hour scale lets the red GMT hand speak for itself. The Breitling Caliber 32 powers the GMT complication. Its 24-hour scale lets the user track a second time zone and know at a glance whether it’s day or night, while the “onion” crown (a classic Chronomat feature named for its fluted-dome shape) allows for easy adjustments. As an all-purpose sports watch, meant to cross over between Breitling’s air, land and sea universes, the GMT 40 has an impressive 200m water resistance. Known as “a watch for every pursuit,” the Chronomat mission is truer now than ever because of the GMT 40’s practical size and understated style. Sturdy enough for the gym, yet smart enough for black tie: If there’s one watch to travel with, this is it.Built for jet pilots, the Avenger is designed to take on the toughest cockpits and keep coming back for more. But you don’t need air force credentials to appreciate its bold design, exceptional resilience, and next-level functionality. Pairing performance with sophisticated modern aviation style, the collection’s materials—stainless steel on regular models; ceramic and titanium on Night Mission —are the stuff of aviation design, while dial colors are drawn from military uniform shades. All stainless-steel versions come with a choice of military leather strap with a folding-pin buckle or three-row stainless-steel bracelet with micro-adjustable folding clasp. Ceramic models are paired to a military leather strap with a titanium folding-pin buckle. And whether you can pull off a barrel roll or not, you’ll appreciate everything about the Avenger’s 300 m water resistance, easy-grip functionality, and corrosion-resistant construction.
