Description
ContentMade to move between the waves and the waterfront. The Superocean Heritage is no ordinary sea watch—it never was. When Breitling first launched it in 1957, it took a different tack from other dive watches of the era. The Ref. 1004 (a sleek time-only piece) and Ref. 807 (the world’s first dedicated dive chronograph) weren’t just about exploring the underwater world—they were about looking good doing it. The spear-and-arrow hands, anodized rotating bezel, and naturally sleek proportions made it a favorite of stylish adventurers who lived for the sea and the scene. Today, that philosophy is still at the core of the Superocean Heritage. It’s got the soul of the 1950s, but designed for today. The latest Superocean Heritage builds on everything that made the original distinctive—and sharpens it. The collection introduces the B31 automatic movement, Breitling’s first exclusive three-hand manufacture caliber. A ceramic-inlayed bezel adds exceptional scratch resistance, while integrated mesh-metal or mesh-rubber bracelets fit snugly against the case, secured with folding clasps for a clean, watertight finish. A discreet date window at six o’clock and the original signature hands—arrow for hours, spear for minutes—ensure legibility and balance, above or below the surface. In the early 1940s, Willy Breitling was already dreaming of a time after the war, when utility would give way to unbridled optimism. He began designing a chronograph that would be functional but also undeniably elegant and infinitely wearable—in his words, “the unmistakable stamp of impeccable taste.” He called this new line the Premier. To create its modern Premier, Breitling preserved distinctive vintage-Premier details, including the smooth fixed bezel, twin-register dial, streamlined rectangular pushers and applied Arabic numerals. The Premier B01 Chronograph 42 is available in an array of dial colors and case materials. It comes on a choice of classic alligator leather strap or sleek 7-row metal bracelet. Today’s Premier also lives up to Willy Breitling’s uncompromising technical standards with its exceptional self-winding movement—the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01—designed for maximum precision, reliability and functionality. The Avenger series, first introduced in the early 2000s, represents Breitling’s dedication to crafting aviation watches tailored to the most extreme conditions. Initially designed for fighter pilots, the collection embodies the brand’s spirit of adventure and resilience. These Breitling watches are built to withstand high altitudes, rapid pressure changes, and the physical demands of a cockpit environment, making them reliable companions for both professionals and enthusiasts alike.Back in the 1950s, the original Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI starred next to another Breitling icon: the Navitimer. With its bold design, engraved rotating bezel and extra legible dial the 765 AVI instantaneously became the perfect companion to the Navitimer as the rugged and reliable pilots’ watch. Today, the AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition recreates to the very last detail one of the early executions of the Co-Pilot Ref. 765 AVI. Its all-black dial, protected by a highly-domed Hesalite crystal, has the same Arabic numerals as the original Co-Pilot from 1953, with tone-on-tone small seconds, 15-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters. The hand-applied Super-LumiNova color has been carefully chosen to recall the original luminescent material and gives the AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition an additional touch of vintage allure. The 41mm stainless steel case is also identical, and the bezel is secured by three screws that are placed in precisely the same positions as those on the watch from 1953. There are only two concessions to modernity that distinguish this new timepiece from its famous ancestor: the water resistance has been improved up to 3 bar (30 meters) and keen-eyed observers will see that “GENEVE” does not appear on the dial anymore. The AVI Ref. 765 1953 Re-Edition is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber B09, a hand-wound COSC-certified caliber based on the renowned Breitling Caliber 01 and developed specifically for historical re-editions. It is available on a black vintage-inspired leather strap with a pin buckle as a limited-edition of 1953 pieces, each of which is engraved “ONE OF 1953”.Breitling’s all-purpose watch for your every pursuit. The Chronomat holds a significant place in Breitling’s history. Introduced in 1984, at a time where extra-thin quartz timepieces were the order of the day, Breitling placed a bold bet on an impressively proportioned mechanical watch. Based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which had been developed and launched in 1983 in collaboration with the famed Italian aerial squadron, the Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph to its rightfully prominent place at the brand which had built its global reputation on these incredible watches. Available in a variety of materials from stainless steel to luxurious 18 k red gold, the Chronomat features a 42 mm case and the iconic bezel with the four rider tabs. Available in a range of colorful dials, the Chronomat is matched to the signature “Rouleaux” bracelet in metal or rubber and is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer.Debuted in 1964, the Breitling Top Time watch was initially designed as a chronograph that would appeal to young, energetic individuals. Previously, chronographs were only used as professional instruments, but Breitling recognised their potential as elegant accessories. Top Time quickly became popular among automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts in the 1960s. The watch remained in production until the late 1970s, surviving a tough era when quartz watches gained popularity. After many years, Top Time was revived in 2020 under the direction of new CEO Georges Kern, aiming to restore its original charm and historical significance.
